This is a copy of a Showtime Magazine Hair & Skin edition. The whole concept was derived from a context picture to create a magazine cover ad. Black Beauty hashtag was featured as the model for the design process. Beautiful African women were the right fit for the this type of ad magazine and also added in some other fascinating stories. The selected pictures were retouched using Photoshop and researched on the right fonts that suits the magazine ad. Font colors were carefully chosen to create the illusion and sometimes the photos are edited using Light room so that some text come out better where they’re placed. Creating ads like this, having access to a large amount of free font helps. You get to sample them before download. With some little skills you get to create easy logos.
